August's Music Videos You Need To See

This month came with some music video releases that you’ll definitely want to check out.

From sexual female liberation to a melancholic self-discovery journey in the woods.

Here are the top videos of the month:

Cardi B ft. Megan Thee Stallion - WAP

Cardi B still is as unapologetic as always and has released her music video WAP featuring Megan Thee Stallion. The video is as shocking as the lyrics which have caused a lot of controversy because of the highly explanatory sexual content about female pleasuring but WAP is at the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 so it seems the majority of listeners are loving it.

Katy Perry - Smile

Is the latest Katy Perry video and part of her album “Smile”, a super dreamy-pop cheerful video where we see Katy Perry interacting with an animated version of herself. The video has very nice visuals and it provides a very uplifting vibe to it where she sings about finally feeling happy after some tough times.

Billie Eilish – My Future

A very melancholic start where we see an animated version of Billie walking through the woods while the rain falls turns into a completely different mood after about half-way into the video.

The music and video get very upbeat while we hear Billie talking about personal growth and a bright future to come.

Drake ft. Lil Durk – Laugh Now, Cry Later

A very over the top-luxurious type of video featuring nice cars, huge mansions, and the signature Drake humor that just gives it that something special it needed.
