Here are the Biggest Music Events Canceled

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus several industries and worldwide events such as the Olympics and important sports matches have suffered a big impact, but one that is particularly at loss right now is the live entertainment business. Since a big part of the world is under strict quarantine a lot of scheduled concerts and festivals had, of course, to be either canceled or postponed, clients have gotten either full refunds or reusable credit for future events. Here are some of the most important events that got canceled/postponed: 1. Primavera Sound This music festival in Barcelona, Spain was one of the most important festivals not only in Spain but in Europe. Thankfully it was only moved to the end of the season (August 26-30) but they are not sure if it will maintain the original lineup that was planned. 2. Essence Fest This event is the largest African-American culture and music in the United States located in New Orleans, they have postponed it but there is still no specific dates for when it is supposed to happen except "closer to the fall". 3. Tomorrowland Winter Probably one of the biggest electronic dance music festivals had to be canceled, it was supposed to take place on March 14-21 but as of now, there are no signs of future re-scheduling. 4. APRA Music Awards The Australian music awards that are meant to award and celebrate excellence in contemporary music have decided to do a virtual format this year. It will be streamed on May 26 because they still want to "celebrate and acknowledge the success and artistry of their songwriters whose work enriches our lives,". 5. Bonaroo Music Festival It started in 2002 and has always taken place in Manchester, Tennessee. This festival was rescheduled until September 24-27.
