This will be the 13th consecutive week were the single Old Town Road by Lil Was x ft. Billy Ray Cyrus is on the position No.1 of the Billboard Hot 100!
The song was released in 2018 but since then several remixes have been done, the most popular right now being with Billy Ray Cyrus but other features such as Young Tough and Diplo have been very well received as well.
After the original version was kicked out of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart because the magazine didn't felt the song fit the country genre, the song peaked not only in the Billboard hot 100 but also in other charts such as the Rolling Stone Top 100 and other international lists in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom amongst others.
The performance of the song actually received a standing ovation at the BET Awards this last June 2019 when both Lil Was X and Billy Ray Cyrus took the stage.
Some of the other top songs in thes chart include Señorita, by Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello which was actually released just over a week ago, Bad Guy by Billie Eilish, Talk by Khalid and I Don't Care by Ed Sheehan & Justin Bieber.
