Akãchará released her new single today and it is the perfect combination between contemporary R&B, Neo-soul, and even some hip hop. We can clearly see Akãchará's wide musical and cultural background since her Latin, American and even Spanish roots come together as one in all of the lyrics. A lot of different influences could be pinpointed such as Lauryn Hill and Erykah Badu amongst others but there is also a very clear individual artistry and voice that she has and it captures the listener since the beginning. The single switches back and forth between English and Spanish and it talks about personal relationships, musically it brings very soothing harmonies, powerful and versatile vocals and of course her characteristic rap. From her previous works, we can definitely see more experimentation with styles and musical elements that bring more variety to the project.
