Facebook Launches "Licensed Music Videos" Feature

On the 31st of July Facebook announced the official rollout of licensed music videos which has been available for its users since the 1st of August.

This feature will allow its users to discover and share music videos from different artists such as Elton John, Jonas Brothers, Diplo, and Miley Cyrus amongst others.

Facebook was able to accomplish this through its expanded partnerships with important music labels such as Warner Music, Sony Music, Universal Music Group, and more.

Through this new feature, users will be able to access exclusive music video content such as music video premiers from famous Latin American artists such as J. Balvin, Lele Pons, Alejandro Fernandez, and others.

Facebook is also preparing to launch tools and playlists where its listeners will be able to explore those music videos by mood, genre, or artist.

The unique feature that Facebook wants so that it can be different from other platforms such as YouTube is the various ways its users can react and talk about their favorite videos and performances.
