Miley Cyrus just released her new video ¨Mother´s Daughter¨ part of the ¨She is Coming¨ album and we all should definitely watch it. It really sends an empowering message regarding common social issues we are facing today, specially issues that are affecting women and members of the LGBTQ community.
This video celebrates absolutely everyone and it tries to celebrate the expression of sexuality in a way that it stops being a tabu, a lot of influential figures are featured in the video such as Lacey baker the famous queer skating figure and Aaron Philip, a transgender and disabled model that has been an inspiration for many and its signed to Elite Model management.
We can see a mother nursing her kid, we can also see plus size models and phrases like ¨Not an object¨ and ¨Sin is in your eyes¨. The video really reflects all that our modern society its fighting for, Miley has been starting (consciously or unconsciously) a revolutionary movement since quite some time but now it seems to be really much more directed towards a specific goal and her fans with the rest of her audience really appreciates it.
