Rosalía´s new singles: ¨Millonària¨ & ¨Dio$ no$ libre del dinero¨

Since last year the Spanish singer Rosalía has definitely been rising to popularity after her album ¨El Mal Querer¨, recently she released her new single along with the official video ¨F*cking Money Man¨ which is a two-tracker song under the same name.

In the first part of the single ¨Millonària¨ we can hear her singing in Catalán which is her native language, and this song she says is the first one inspired by ¨rumba catalana¨ which comes from Andalucian Flamenco and its influences by other genres such as Cuban music, this genre wasnborn in Barcelona, Spain where she is originally from.

In the video we can see her playing as a contestant in a show such as ¨The price is right¨, while she sings ¨I know I was born to be a millionaire, celebrating my birthday every day with two leopards running around in my yard¨.

We can hear a very different style from past singles such as ¨Con Altura¨ where it was more influenced by Trap and Reggaeton.

In the second part of the single ¨Dio$ no$ libre del dinero¨, we can hear an abrupt change in style maybe more similar to her past works. Just voice with some synthesizers along with the use of pads in the background, while she sings ¨God saves us from money¨ and wears an attire almost entirely covered of Moschino which could be viewed as a bit misleading.
